What is it about physics based puzzle games that have everyone racing to their phones as if they provide some form of electronic crack? Blast Monkeys fits right into this category of games that will form a black hole around your productivity schedule.

Blast Monkeys is a simple physics based puzzle game in which you shoot a monkey out of a cannon in hopes of collecting bananas, and reaching a goal placed somewhere in the stage. Of course, things are not always as they seem, and things like rotating platforms, spinning pegs, and various other obstacles only work to block your monkey from completing their task. The game is simple enough for kids, yet entertaining enough to intrigue hardened adults.

In fact, this game is so interesting that it passed the 250,000 download mark. Not cool enough for you? When you factor in the total cross platform Android and iOS downloads, the game rockets past the 300k mark. That is a lot of monkey launching happening.

Now before you go racing off to the Android store to see what all the hubbub is about, there are two versions for you to wet your whistle to. The free version comes packed with 60 stages, while the paid version brings on 90 levels and no ads. Blast Monkeys has even reached high praise across 21 different countries. If you need a new time sink, thee is a good chance you will like Blast Monkeys. Check out the video below and give the free version a spin. Who knows, you may just find your next massive time sink.
