Instagram has gotten a 4.1 update that adds in a big new feature: the ability to import video in to the app. This means that video uploads can come from other apps, the built-in camera, or from other pre-edited sources. This is a feature that Vine doesn’t support, and may be used by advertisers to upload ad spots. As well, Ice Cream Sandwich devices can now upload video. The update is available now on Google Play.
