Nokia Releases Beta Version of Interesting Homescreen Replacement, Z Launcher

Jun 19, 2014

Nokia has announced Z Launcher, an interesting new Android homescreen replacement. Allowing users to scribble on the screen to find search terms from apps, content, browser history, and the web, ultimately adapting to usage over time, this is an interesting move from the company that sold their hardware division to Microsoft. However, the software side appears to still be an independent entity – and they’re trying something interesting with this new launcher. It’s currently in an open beta, and you can sign up to try it out on your device at this link.
