Who’s ready for a little bit of puzzle platforming featuring a betrayed wizard? I hope the answer is “Me, someone I care about, or maybe not myself at this moment but I’m open to the possibility.” Wizardous: An Apprentice’s Betrayal has just been released on Google Play, and features just what I mentioned. Controlling a wizard betrayed by his apprentice, players must navigate hazardous levels in order to get back to the castle and to confront the perfidious apprentice.
Players must time their jumps carefully, as they must collect all the cresecent moons in a level before eventually grabbing the key to the exit and going on to the next level. Thankfully, there’s a user-friendly respawn system that makes it quick and painless to go back to the last checkpoint after dying or messing up, so while many of the jumps are challenging, the game isn’t impossible.
After a public pre-release, the full version of the game is available now, temporarily at its $0.99 sale price. Watch the video below and then grab the game while the bits are hot!
