Amazon’s Appstore for Android Officially Launches

Mar 22, 2011

It’s finally here, and open for business. Amazon’s Appstore for Android went live this morning, loaded with games, tools and other applications.

Offering a familiar interface that Amazon shoppers have known for years: User reviews, detailed descriptions, personalized recommendations and the ability to take apps for a “test drive” on a simulated Android phone, Amazon’s Appstore for Android is looking like it’s off to a great start.
