Long-time independent iOS developer Owen Goss has made his debut on Android, with a version of his app “Baby’s Musical Hands” for Android. Inspired by his baby son, this app lets children tap brightly colored squares on the screen of the device, which plays back sound and causes a visual reaction on the screen. Red notes are drums, yellow notes are piano, and blue squares are guitar. It’s also designed to support multitouch so multiple sounds and animations can play back at once. The app also supports tablets as well as phone devices, with 5 additional buttons available when running on tablets. This app may interest those new parents out there with children always trying to play with their tablet or phone but not exactly knowing what to do with it! This provides them with a fun interactive toy to play around with on this fancy new technology. Baby’s Musical Hands is available for $0.99 (as of publication, the app is US $1.01, but this is an error with pricing on Google’s end with regional pricing) from the Android Market. Now then, Mr. Goss…how about some Monkeys in Space…on Android!
