New Expansion for Forsaken World Set to Drop this Spring

Feb 3, 2016

Fedeen Games is bringing a huge expansion to its mobile MMORPG game Forsaken World.

The upcoming Forsaken World Mobile expansion will be loaded with new features including the incredible new Epic Dungeons. These are no mere scuffles – rather, a Epic Dungeon event will require every single player on a server to unite in a battle of truly legendary proportions. Everyone will need to do their part in this unprecedentedly global test of teamwork.

Forsaken World Mobile fans can also look forward to the 3V3 Arena. In addition to the pre-existing solo combat Arena, players will now be able to team up with two allies for a dynamic, collaborative PVP experience.

These are but two of the brand-new inclusions in the new Forsaken World Mobile expansion, which will also feature character-centric improvements such as new skills and weapon upgrades. More information will be forthcoming as the expansion’s release approaches.

The update is scheduled to roll out this Spring.

Temple Run 2 Gets Expansion World via Update

Temple Run 2 Gets Expansion World via Update

Imangi’s popular endless runner game sequel Temple Run 2 is getting a new world and more via an expansion it just announced.

Dubbed “Frozen Shadows,” the new world brings a wintery feel to the endless runner, with new stunts and other elements which are supposed to add to the overall experience.

Imangi co-founder Keith Shepard mentions future plans. “This is the first in a series of world expansions we have planned for Temple Run 2 over the next year,” he says. “Frozen Shadows gives Temple Run 2 fans an entirely new terrain to explore, and a new twist on the gameplay with the ice luge. It’s basically a completely new Temple Run game in an update.”

We really loved Temple Run 2 when we checked it out a while back on Android Rundown; it continues to get better with interesting character-driven updates. It remains free on Google Play (with in-app purchasing).

A trailer for the new version is below:

Gold Rush Sim 1849 Receives Silver-Themed Expansion Pack

1849, a simulation game based on the Gold Rush of the 19th Century, has just received a new expansion pack. The new pack, named Nevada Silver, expands the game on a different prospecting track.

About 1849: Nevada Silver
The original 1849 puts players in the well-worn boots of a true forty-niner — building, managing, and mining twenty towns clustered in California’s iconic Gold Country. Story mode challenges players to complete self-contained scenarios, while an endless Sandbox mode invites marathon open-ended play.*

The new 1849: Nevada Silver expansion pack carries the simulation into neighboring Nevada to present six challenging new scenarios set during the Comstock Silver Rush, ten years after the Gold Rush kicked off in California. With trains moving goods between distant cities, steam-powered mills boosting production, and more complex mining processes yielding deeply hidden riches, 1849: Nevada Silver expands on 1849’s addictive gameplay to provide even more challenge on a bustling new frontier.

*At launch, the mobile versions of 1849 only had Story mode. Sandbox mode has since been added in a free update, meaning both Story and Sandbox mode are now included on all platforms.

The game itself is available for $4.99; the expansion pack is an extra $1.99 via in-app purchase.
