May 22, 2014

GroupMe has gotten a big update on Android, bringing it on par with the web and iOS versions. It’s now possible to use images to humorous effect with greater ease, with a media search feature to find GIFs, images, and videos within the app. And when you find an image, you can add the outlined Impact font text that’s become referred to as “meme” text. The update was in beta testing for a while, but now is available to all users on Google Play.
