Lifeline Games on Sale on Google Play and Amazon Appstore

Lifeline Games on Sale on Google Play and Amazon Appstore

Dec 31, 2015

3 Minute Games is doing its part to send folks into 2016 smiling with a sale on three of its survival-themed adventures. Currently, Lifeline, Lifeline 2 and Lifeline: Silent Night are all on sale for $0.99 each.

Better yet, they are available at said price on both Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

Excerpts from the first iteration:

Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. You will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together.

Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.

A totally unique experience enabled by modern devices, this story plays out in real time. As Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free.

Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode.

Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU.

We especially liked the Lifeline when we reviewed it; at this price (down from the individual price of $2.99 each), these are a steal.

Go download this epic adventure, featuring frightening foes and heart-pounding twists, now!

When Sarah Black, curator at the Caribbean Naval Museum, receives a mysterious package, she is unwittingly drawn into an ancient conflict. As she begins to remove an artifact from the package, assailants instantly descend on the museum and snatch it. In disbelief, Sarah realizes that yet again she is falling headfirst into a nightmare from the deep! Soon she finds herself on the shores of Kingsmouth, a forgotten fishing village with an incredible secret. A would-be messenger reveals the sad truth: he and the town’s other denizens are gradually turning into ghoulish, mutated ocean creatures. And this curse was cast by none other than Mayor Murray and the old sea-devil himself, Davy Jones! Answer the siren’s call to save this beleaguered village and defeat Davy Jones, Mayor Murray and his pet sea monster, the Kraken!

Nightmares from the Deep: The Siren’s Call is filled with suspense and intrigue. It brims with interactive mini-games, diverse puzzles and dynamic hidden object scenes. Silhouette type scenes hide a few items that are parts of puzzles and help to find other hidden items on the same scenes. In the end of each search a player will get a tool that is crucial for further progress. This sequel too offers a mahjong mini-game as an alternative to regular search for hidden items. Stunning artwork and pleasant voiceovers maintain a proper atmosphere. Spiced up with a breathtaking story line that mixes mythology with modern characters, Nightmares from the Deep 2 catches attention from the very first till the very last minute, and guarantee an unforgettable gaming experience.

The game is developed by Artifex Mundi and published on iOS, Android and Mac by G5 Entertainment.

Thrilling storyline and awesome artwork
48 enigmatic locations
Over 400 objects to find
20 hidden object scenes
28 amazingly diverse mini-games
30 fantastic achievements

Both titles are available on Google Pla and the Amazon Appstore.

One Man Left Studios Sale Goes Live; Both Games on Sale for Limited Time

Dec 24, 2014

Ready to tilt into the new year?

One Man Left Studios, the developer behind Android favorites Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous and Tilt 2 Live Gauntlet’s Revenge (plus the soon-to-arrive Outwitters) is giving fans a fairly exciting way to enjoy the holidays.

Starting today, it is offering both published games for 66% off each; that means one can have the aforementioned titles for $2.99 and $0.99 each.

That is a savings of $2 off the regular price of each of those games.

We had an opportunity to review Redonkulous earlier this year, and enjoyed; we also unashamedly looked forward to the recent release of Gauntlet’s Revenge.

No word on how long the sale is going to be on, so this is one that one might wanna jump on quick!

The Curse Goes Free for the Holidays in New Release

The Curse Goes Free for the Holidays in New Release

Dec 12, 2012

Ho ho ho and a thumbs up to all! The Curse, Toy Studio’s puzzle game of many hats, is celebrating the holidays in a special way: by going free! That means that it’s now possible to try and tackle The Mannequin’s devious brain-bending puzzles without paying the steep fee for buying it. One to three dollars for 100 puzzles? Too expensive!

However, on Android, there’s an interesting situation: because apps can’t go to free without being able to go back to paid, those who want to take on The Mannequin without any financial investment will have a special holiday version to download. It’s the same as the full version, but with the added benefit of seeing The Mannequin in a Santa hat. He’s still rather villainous – but festive!

Considering that games going from paid to free is a rather valid strategy for apps on the App Store, it seems silly that there’s still no way to do it on Google Play for developers. But still, there’s ways for developers to pull it off. The Curse: Holiday Sale is available now from Google Play, for a limited time.
