After its launch on iPad earlier this year, tablet-optimized reading app News360 has made its way to Android.
Users simply sign up and add topics that interest them, from topics like politics & technology, their location, favorite sports, and teams. Then, as users find stories that interest them, they can add stars in order to help the app customize which stories from which sources interest them, helping the combined aggregated feed be more tailored to interests. Some important stories are mixed in with customized interests, in order to make sure users are getting all the important stories. Categories can even be optimized based on specific sub-topics where applicable.
Articles can be viewed in an optimized preview, or viewed in their original form; just tap the preview image of the original article at the bottom to view it in an integrated web browser. Articles can be shared to Facebook and Twitter, directly to Pocket and Instapaper, and opened in the browser directly. None of those options work? Then feel free to share to pretty much any compatible app via Android’s built-in sharing options.`
News360 is available starting today for Android tablets from Google Play.
