Those looking for a phone that’s hefty in size but not in price will have a new non-Nexus option to check out with the upcoming OnePlus One. OnePlus, founded by former Oppo vice president Pete Lau, will boast a 5.5″ 1080p display with 3 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, and 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor. As well, it boasts an operating system powered by CyanogenMod, the popular series of Android custom ROMs. This is all going to come in at a price of $299 for 16 GB of storage, with 64 GB clocking in a $349. The plan is for the phone to start rolling out in the 2nd quarter of 2014.
