Version 1.995 brings new campaigns, elements, buildings, blueprints, jobs and more.

The Sandbox update version 1.700 is available now on Google Play. Players now have an Avatar, a controllable human to play through retro mini-games and custom created levels. A user-created campiagn is available for free, as is the Robocalypse campaign. As well, new Light Prism, Quartz Laser, and Aluminite Laser items are now available in the creation game. The game is available for free on Google Play.

The Sandbox has a brand new update on Google Play, this time in space. The Alien Invasion campaign, part of update 1.500, features ten new levels, with seven new elements to play around with. As well, new creatures, a lunar lander, and a gravity-altering SpaceMan Powder are here to add to the fun. The update is available now on Google Play, and you can watch a trailer below:

Everyone’s favorite pixilated open world mobile game, where SimWorld meets Minecraft, has yet again been updated, this time bringing robots from the future hell bent on destruction. Sound familiar?

With this update players are given some cool new features such as new robot oriented campaigns to choose from, along with some updates to the app icon, the menu, bug fixes, new elements and a whole lot more.

As always, The Sandbox remains free for anyone of any budget to enjoy.

Oh, the Humanity! The Sandbox Now Has Humans!

The Sandbox, Pixowl Games’ 2D physics sandbox app for making and doing just about whatever as long as it’s in two dimensions and made of pixel art, not only celebrated its first anniversary of existence, but has also gotten a major content update on Android. Humans have been added to the game, bring a spice of autonomy to the title. Players can get their humans to wander around and interact with their worlds, influencing what they say and do by using magical powders to make them take up Miner, Woodcutter or Builder roles.

Those who want to see just what they can do can check out the new Humans campaign with 15 new levels. As well, a new user-created campaign with 10 new levels created by the community has been added as well. The Sandbox is celebrating its one year anniversary with a big sale on in-app purchases and a contest. Fans can now download each campaign for $0.99 cents or as a whole for $3.99. Also on sale are the mana packs, from $2.99 to $15.99. As of today, iOS and Android combined, The Sandbox has had over 4.3 million downloads and has surpassed 220,000 worlds shared in the online gallery.
