Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous’ Brimstone Pinball Mode Now Available

Apr 17, 2014

The day has come at last: Tilt to Live 2 finally gets the Brimstone Pinball mode. Demoed at GDC, this mode takes the brimstone ball powerup from the main game modes and makes it the main way that players will defeat their enemies in this arena survival game. Keep the ball moving to hit enemies harder, bouncing off of the active wall to unleash destructive lasers. The new mode is available as a $0.99 in-app purchase.

You may have just started playing Tilt to LIve 2, but prepare for more! One Man Left is bringing the first new game mode to Tilt to Live 2: Brimstone Pinball. Based off of the brimstone ball powerup added to the game, this mode is based entirely around it, with a ball that stays in the arena. Bounce it off of enemies to take them out, bounce it off of the walls to activate a super laser, but be wary: the enemy spawners occasionally spawn chainsaws. Ouch. The update is coming soon to both iOS and Android.

It’s quite possible that Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous will be hitting Android soon. Developer of the game, One Man Left, discussed the possibility of it on their blog recently, and while it’s not a sure thing, Alex Okafor of the studio has mentioned Android testing in Unity at least once so who knows what could happen. Tilt to Live 2, an arena survival game built around tilt controls, is a sequel and reimagining of the 2010 original, featuring all-new defenses and enemies. The series is critically-acclaimed, so they would be welcome on Android. But time will tell if green robots will get to meet red dots…
