Beats, the brand of headphones and speakers popularized by their affiliation with co-founder Dr. Dre and an emphasis on heavy bass, has announced its new music service which will launch on January 21st. According to Recode, the service will offer ad-free access for $10 month but no free usage like Spotify. As well, a partnership with AT&T to add Beats Music to one’s phone bill will also be available. The service will be available via mobile and the web, and should be one to keep an eye on depending on what they can do to be compelling in the subscription music market.
