The free-to-play version of Advanced Mobile Applications’ Babel Rising 3D has been downloaded more than one million times on Google Play in two weeks, the developer has announced.

In Babel Rising 3D, players use divine powers to call down lighting strikes and meteor showers, trigger massive earthquakes, and summon vengeful floods to repel waves of Babylonians who are trying to construct the famous tower. Since its release on July 26, AMA says the game has received a 4.5/5 rating by over 15,000 users and sits in the U.S. and European top 10 free download charts.

“We are delighted with the success of Babel Rising 3D. It is the result of listening to players and working in close partnership with game developer Mando Productions to enhance their experience and offer new content,” says Guillaume Campion, head of production at AMA.

“To see our game reaching one million downloads is an overwhelming satisfaction. It’s also a great pleasure to see the achievement of the work done with our partners” adds Michel Bams, co-founder of Mando Productions.

AMA says future updates to Babel Rising 3D will bring new items and a new game mode.
