Gameloft Live Allows Gameloft Players to Create Avatars and Gain Rewards for Achievements

Feb 3, 2012

Gameloft has announced the release of a new app for Android users to manage their profiles on their Gameloft Live social gaming network. What this app lets users do is create a 3D avatar to represent their profile. Outfits, hairstyles, and locale can all be customized within the app. As well, friend lists can be managed directly from the profile. Chatting with other users and sending them messages is also available. This app also serves as the home for Gameloft Live trophies, with rewards that can be earned for collecting them. Achievements earned in other Gameloft games, even ones played on other platforms, can go toward currency used ot customize the avatars. I have acheivement points from Splinter Cell: Conviction that I played on my iPhone 3G that are counted in this app. Other Gameloft games can be shopped for from within the app. The app has initially launched on the Gameloft Android store, and will launch at a later date on the Amazon Appstore and Android Market.
